Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection and management of wild fauna, biological diversity and natural habitats thereof. Authorized regional state institution in the sphere of protection and management of wildlife shall carry out the following plenary powers: (a) protection and reproduction of wild fauna species except of those populating protected areas; (b) regulation of the number of wild fauna species and registration of wild fauna species; (c) issuance of licences (except for administrative licences) for hunting, except for hunting in protected areas; (d) issuance of permits for captive breeding; and (e) control of hunting methods (traps and decoy devices).
