Abstract This Regional Law establishes terms and arrangements for state support of traditional economic activities of small indigenous populations of the North. Traditional economic activities entitled to state support shall be reindeer ranching for which pastures shall be allotted for grazing, hunting and fisheries fir subsistence purposes with preferential hunting and fishing rights, and secondary forest management in the form of harvesting of edible non-timber resources and collection of medicinal plants as traditional economic activity. State support shall be granted in the form of preferential terms of tax payment, subsidies, specific programs and institution of areas of traditional nature management.
