Abstract This Regional Law establishes the modalities of allotment of forest fund parcels (public forest) for recreational purposes, tourism and sport either on short-time lease (for the period of up to one year) or on long-term lease (for the period up to 49 years). The aforesaid forest parcels shall be allotted with the consideration of forest management plan through tenders. The following forest parcels shall not be allotted for recreational purposes, tourism and sport: (a) forestry seed plantations; (b) protection forests, forests of protected areas and forest parcels with particularly precious forest species; and (c) forest areas less than 100 ha, located in unforested areas.
