This Regional Law enters into force on 1 January 2006.
Abstract

This Regional Law, in accordance with the Fundamentals of the Legislation of the Russian Federation on the Protection of Public Health, establishes measures for the social support of certain categories of citizens residing in the regional territory. The right to free provision of foodstuffs of high nutritional value (special dietary and infant food) in the presence of medical certificate shall be granted to the following categories of citizens, whose average per capita income is below the subsistence minimum: (a) pregnant women; (b) nursing mothers; and (c) children under three years of age.
