Abstract Non-alcoholic energizing beverages shall be considered those containing caffeine of synthetic origin and other energizing ingredients sufficient to produce energizing effect on human organism, except for tea, coffee and beverages with components of the former and the latter. This Regional Law imposes prohibition on retail trade and vending of non-alcoholic energizing beverages to the persons under age with a view of protection of public health. Vending of non-alcoholic energizing beverages shall be prohibited in the following cases: (a) to the persons underage; (b) inside educational, healthcare and sanitary institutions; (c) at sport, recreational and physical training facilities; and (d) in places of conduct of cultural and mass events with the participation or presence of teen-agers and the youth.
