Abstract This Regional Law establishes the modalities of organization and functioning of collection and shipping point for timber, and establishes the requirements for acceptance, registration and transportation of timber. Incoming, processing and shipping timber shall be subject to compulsory registration and shall be recorded in registration log. Each collection and shipping point must issue monthly declarations related to accepted, processed and shipped timber (art. 2). At the moment of timber delivery to collection and shipping point for timber copies of the following documents must be submitted: (a) forest parcel lease contract; (b) forest declaration; and (c) timber inspection act (art. 4).
