Regional Law No. 89-OD “On subsoil management”.

This Regional Law envisages the following types of subsoil management: (a) geological exploration; (b) geological study and prospecting; (c) mining; (d) construction and operation of underground facilities; (e) formation of protected geological sites; and (f) collecting of minerals for geological collections. Concession of subsoil can be performed for a limited period of time or can be open-ended, can be performed with or without licence. Subsoil management shall require payment of fees.
