Abstract The present Regional Law determines legal regulation of the activity of pedigree stock breeding, production and utilization of the animal reproduction materials. The Regional Law is applicable to legal and physical persons carrying out the activity in the sphere of pedigree stock breeding in conformity with the species and breeds of animals classified in accordance with the technical characteristics. Imported pedigree animal reproduction materials shall obtain the statute of pedigree reproduction material from the moment of its registration by certification authority (art. 7). Pedigree animal reproduction material is subject to compulsory certification by certification authority (art. 11). Pedigree farm shall ensure registration of pedigree stock by the certifying authority and the organization of pure-blooded animal reproduction (art. 15). Organization of extraction, storage and trade of embryos of pedigree stock shall be carried by legal persons with the purpose of extraction and sale of embryos of pedigree stock to legal and natural persons for the purpose of transfer thereof (art. 20). Laboratory of genetic expertise must provide for genetic analysis of pedigree production (material) in conformity with the technical requirements and legalize its findings (art. 23). Full text Russian
