This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes the procedure for the provisions of free meals to children from low income families, students enrolled in state and municipal general education schools, and on transfer to local government of municipal districts and urban districts of separate state authority to provide free of charge nutrition for children from poor families in municipal schools (general educational institutions). Children from low income families, studying in public and municipal regional general educational institutions, shall be provided with free meals during the school year. Low-income families shall be considered families whose average per capita income is below regional subsistence level. Financing of costs for the provisions of free meals to children from low income families shall be performed out of the regional budget.
