Abstract This Regional Law is aimed at protection of animal health and the population against diseases common to animals and human beings, and ensuring manufacturing of good quality products of animal origin. Regional veterinary shall perform the following tasks: (a) prevention and liquidation of infectious animal diseases; (b) protection of the regional territory against infectious animal diseases; and (c) performance of state veterinary supervision.
