Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law classifies protected areas as of regional and local significance and into the following categories: (a) natural parks; (b) state nature reserves; (c) nature monuments; (d) dendrological parks and botanical gardens; (e) healthcare areas and spas; and (f) historical landscapes. Protected areas shall be taken into consideration in the process of land-use planning. Protected areas shall be delimited on-site by informative marks. Complex ecological inspection of protected areas shall be carried out regularly by the authorized state regional environmental institution. In accordance with the aforesaid inspection and environmental audit regional administration shall make decision related to the institution of protected areas.
