This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes competence of state bodies related to hunting and hunting management with a view of ensuring sustainable and inexhaustible management of wild fauna species subject to hunting, protection of the interests of hunters and hunting managers, and ensuring the needs of citizens in recreational facilities. Hunting rights shall be separated from right of ownership and tenure of land, water, forests and subsoil that compose hunting grounds for purposes not related to hunting management. Basic principles of hunting and hunting management shall be: (a) state management; (b) support of activities aimed at protection of wild fauna species subject to hunting and natural habitats thereof; (c) prevention of cruelty to wild fauna species; and (d) payment of wild fauna species subject to hunting.
