Abstract This Regional Law lays down fundamental principles of state support of agricultural development financed by the regional budget with a view of improvement efficiency of agricultural sector, formation of sustainable agrofood market and meeting the demand of the population for foodstuffs. State support can be granted to the following categories: (a) producers of agricultural commodities; and (b) agricultural servicing organizations operating in the field of artificial insemination of livestock and procurement of pedigree livestock; acceptance, storage and processing of agricultural commodities and raw materials; and equipment and material procurement, assistance and servicing of agricultural producers. State support shall be granted in the following forms: (a) access to credits; (b) insurance of agricultural risks; (c) extension; (d) transfer of public finances; and (e) preferential terms for taxation.
