This Regional Law enters into force on 1 January 2022.
Abstract

This Regional Law governs the relations connected with assignment to local self-government bodies of municipalities located on the regional territory, the regional state authority of the authority for carrying out arrangements for the prevention and elimination of animal diseases in terms of the organization of movement, storage and disposal of biological waste (corpses of animals and birds, including wild, aborted and stillborn fetuses, animal slaughter waste, waste obtained from the processing of raw materials of animal origin) that do not have an owner or whose owner is unknown, and the implementation by local self-government of transferred state powers related to the organization of movement, storage and disposal of biological waste. Control over the implementation by local governments of the state powers transferred thereto in order to organize the movement, storage and disposal of biological waste shall be carried out by the following regional public authorities: (a) Regional Legislative Assembly; (b) Regional Government; (c) authorized body; and (d) the body of internal regional state financial control.
