Abstract This Regional Law determines the principal guidelines of state policy at the regional level in the sphere of tourism. It establishes mechanisms and modalities of public assistance to tourism sector and the modalities of rational management of tourist resources. Among lines of activity in tourism sector are identified such businesses as cruise travels (navigation), rural rourism, ecological tourism, recreational tourism, healthcare tourism and cultural and educational tourism. Regional administration shall register all available tourism resources. The main tasks for public support of tourism sector shall be improvement of efficiency, promotion of regional tourisn and investment generation.
