This Regional Law enters into force on 1 January 2007.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates relations dealing with organization and carrying out subsistence farming by citizens. Subsistence farming shall be conducted by household on the plots of land allotted or purchased for such purpose. Agricultural commodities produced by subsistence farmers shall be property thereof. Land within inhabited (rural) areas and outside thereof (field areas) can be used for subsistence farming. Public and municipal land shall be allotted for subsistence farming exclusively to citizens permanently residing in rural areas. Subsistence farmers must use allotted plots of land only in conformity with the purposeful use thereof and by authorized land management methods.
