This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional law establishes legal relations in the sphere of veterinary with a view of preventing animal diseases, liquidation of the outbreaks thereof, ensuring safety of animal feed, animal feed additives, medicine for animals, safety of raw materials and products of animal origin. Competent regional institution shall have the following plenary powers in the sphere of veterinary: (a) performance of state veterinary supervision; (b) arrangements for prevention of animal diseases, mitigation of the consequences thereof and veterinary medical treatment of ill animals; (c) registration of veterinary specialists; and (d) introduction and cancellation of quarantine.
