Abstract Article 7 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Article 7. Rights and obligations of citizens and legal entities in the field of protection, use and reproduction of green areas. 1. Natural and legal persons in the field of protection, use and the reproduction of green areas must: (a) ensure conservation of green areas; (b) take care of green areas on land plots allotted thereto; (c) comply with fire safety regulations; (d) prevent unlawful acts or omissions which may cause damage to or destruction of green areas. 2. In green areas shall be prohibited: (a) burning fires, burning fallen leaves and dry grass, committing other acts that create a fire hazard; (b) parking of motor vehicles, keeping dismantled (faulty) vehicles in parks, gardens, public gardens, boulevards, children's and sports grounds, lawns and other facilities with green vegetation; (c) storage of various goods, including construction materials; (d) activities causing negative impact on green areas and preventing them from fulfilling their ecological, sanitary, recreational, water protection and other protective functions; and (e) other actions that may be harmful to green plantations.” Full text Russian Website publication.pravo.gov.ru References - Legislation Amends Regional Law No. 26-Z “On protection of urban forests”.
