Abstract This Regional Law classifies game authorized for commercial hunting as follows: (a) mammals; (b) ungulates - wild boar, musk deer, roe deer, elk, red deer; (c) bears; (d) fur animals - wolf, fox, raccoon dog, lynx, wolverine, sable, rock marten, ermine, Siberian striped weasel, mink, otter, hare, squirrel, muskrat; and (b) birds - geese, geese, ducks, black grouse, hazel grouse, pheasant. Hunting permits for hunting resources in the hunting grounds of common access shall be distributed by the regional executive authority, exercising the powers of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Jewish Autonomous Region in the field of hunting and conservation of hunting resources, with the exception of specially protected natural areas of federal significance. The distribution of hunting permits between natural persons shall be performed within the following limits: (a) the quota of hunting resources, approved by the Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region; and (b) the rates of the allowable hunting of game and the rates of capacity established for hunting grounds of common access approved by the authorized body.
