This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates relations, originating in the process of pedigree stockbreeding, production and use of pedigree material, with a view of raising livestock productivity, efficiency and competitiveness of pedigree livestock production. Competent authority in the sphere of pedigree stockbreeding shall be regional executive body authorized by the Regional Government. The following pedigree stockbreeding organizations shall operate on the regional territory: (a) equine stud farms; (b) nucleus; and (c) artificial insemination organizations. Pedigree stock and pedigree herds shall be subject to mandatory certification and registration. Pedigree livestock judgement shall be performed annually in all pedigree stockbreeding organizations. Purchase, sale and delivery of semen of pedigree livestock shall be regulated by contracts.
