Abstract This Regional Law establishes exceptional cases of timber extraction in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species by citizens and legal persons in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species. It envisages the following exceptional case of timber extraction: (a) for public and municipal needs, including fuelwood for heating and building timber for urgent repairs of public edifices; and (c) related to procurement of fir trees (spruces) and other coniferous forest species for New Year festivities.
