This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes legal grounds for hunting and hunting management, conservation, reproduction and sustainable management of hunting species, conservation and improvement of regional hunting grounds. Objects of relations in the sphere of hunting and hunting management shall be hunting species, hunting grounds and the right of use thereof (Art. 2). The right of hunting management shall be exercised by legal persons and individual entrepreneurs that have been granted the right of long-term management of hunting species within the boundaries of hunting grounds allotted thereto. Hunting management shall include: (a) conservation, reproduction and management of wild fauna species subject to hunting; (b) conservation and improvement of hunting grounds; (c) registration of population of hunting species; (d) regulation of the number of hunting species; (e) stock enhancement and acclimatization of hunting species; (f) and organization of hunting with hunting dogs (Art. 4). Regional hunting grounds shall be classified as: (a) allotted to hunting managers for organization of long-term hunting and hunting management; (b) common use hunting grounds; and (c) prohibited hunting areas (Art. 5). Hunting species can be allocated to legal persons and individual entrepreneurs on condition of long-term licence, and to natural persona on condition of nominal once-only licence (Art. 6). Hunters shall comply with acting rules and regulations related to hunting, shall ensure reproduction of hunting species, shall use authorized hunting methods and shall take into consideration the interests of local population (Art. 6).
