Abstract This Regional Law regulates forest management for the purpose of timber extraction, procurement of non-timber forest products, edible forest products and collection of medicinal plants by citizens for personal needs, regulates forest management for hunting, and also exceptional cases of timber extraction in accordance with purchase and sale contracts related to forest species. Citizens shall have the right to procure fuelwood and construction timber for personal needs in accordance with purchase and sale contract related to forest species (Art. 2). Rates of procurement of timber are set forth in the Art. 3. The modalities and rates of procurement of non-timber forest products are set forth in the Art. 4. The modalities of procurement of edible forest products and medicinal plants are set forth in the Art. 5. Plots of forestland allotted for hunting shall be considered hunting grounds.
