Abstract This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right of free stay in forests for the purpose of procurement of non-timber forest resources free of charge. Regional executive body can impose restrictions of the amount of non-timber forest resources with a view of inexhaustible management and reproduction of the aforesaid resources (art. 1). Procurement and harvesting of fuelwood can be carried out all the year round (art. 3). Persons violating forest legislation shall be liable to administrative and criminal prosecution in accordance with the Russian legislation (art. 8). Full text Russian Website www.altailes.ru
