Abstract This Regional Law establishes that natural healthcare resources, healthcare and recreational areas and spas shall be classified as protected areas with particular management and conservation. Natural healthcare resources shall be considered mineral water, medicinal therapeutic muds, healthcare climate and defined area of water of inland waterbodies. Healthcare and recreational areas shall be considered territory with healthcare therapeutic resources suitable for healthcare and recreational activity. Managers shall be natural and legal persons performing development and management of natural medicinal therapeutic resources in accordance with licence. Natural healthcare resources shall be public property. Natural healthcare resources shall be conceded in use for therapeutic and preventive purposes and for recreation.
