This Regional law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes delimitation of plenary powers between state bodies in the sphere of management and conservation of wild fauna species and natural habitats thereof. Regional Legislative Assembly shall be responsible for adoption of legislative acts in the sphere of management and conservation of wild fauna species and law enforcement in the aforesaid sphere. Regional Government shall carry out the following plenary powers: (a) institution and keeping of Red Book of endangered and protected animals; (b) organization of conservation and reproduction of wild fauna species; (c) regulation of the number of wild fauna species, except for protected areas; (d) issuance of hunting licences; and (e) issuance of authorization for captive breeding.
