Abstract This Regional Law regulates legal relations in the sphere of management of domestic and industrial waste, waste prevention and waste recycling. Natural and legal persons operating in the sphere of waste management shall have the following duties: (a) comply with the established rules and regulations related to waste collection, transportation and disposal; (b) ensure safe storage of waste; (c) keep record of collected and disposed waste; (d) introduce ecofriendly processes and technologies for waste processing; (e) submit information of the amount of collected and disposed waste to the competent regional authority; and (f) obligatorily conclude contracts for waste collection, transportation and disposal with municipal and other specialized organizations.
