Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations for institution and keeping Red Book of rare, protected and endangered wild flora and wild fauna species with a view of conservation and protection thereof. Red Book shall contain the following information and data: (a) collected information and analysis of wild fauna and wild flora species; (b) monitoring of the state of wild fauna and wild flora species recorded in the Red Book; (c) requirements for inclusion of wild fauna and wild flora species in the Red Book; and (d) elaboration of conservation and protection measures for species recorded in the Red Book. The necessity of conservation and protection of wild fauna and wild flora species must be substantiated by the objective data related to the state of population thereof.
