Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to extend Federal Law “On wildlife” with a view of rational management, reproduction, conservation and protection of wild fauna and its natural habitats, planning of hunting management and regulation of terms and conditions of hunting. Hunting licensing authority shall be regional administration (Art. 2). The period of validity of hunting licence for the Russian and foreign legal persons shall be 10 years, and it shall be subject to renewal (Art. 3). The issuance of hunting licence shall require payment of hunting fee (Art. 6). Russian legal and natural persons shall have priority for concession of hunting species in specific area (Art. 7).
