Abstract This Regional Law establishes the following priority tasks of veterinary: (a) prevention and liquidation of quarantine e particularly dangerous animal diseases; (b) enforcement of veterinary legislation related to keeping of animals and processing and trade of animal products; and (c) state veterinary supervision. Regional State Veterinary Service shall include authorized state institution and subordinated units. State veterinary supervision shall be intended activity of state veterinary inspectors with a view of prevention, identification and suppression of the violations of veterinary legislation.
