Abstract This Regional Law shall have as its purpose to ensure existence of biological diversity, sustainable management of wild fauna, conservation of genetic resources of wild fauna species and protection of wildlife. State management of wild fauna shall be the competence of regional administration and of the authorized state regional institution in the sphere of wild fauna. Rare and endangered wild fauna species present on the regional territory shall be recorded in the regional Red Book of rare and endangered species. Hunting shall be subject to licensing and payment of hunting licence fees. Hunting shall be classified as commercial and artisanal.
