Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to protect honey bees (Apis mellifera), create conditions for bee raising and bee keeping, use thereof for pollination of entomophilous plants with a view of raising crop productivity and raising manufacturing of apiculture products. State veterinary service shall carry out preventive arrangements for combating bee diseases, quality control of apiculture products and suitability thereof for alimentary purposes (art. 9). Trade of apiculture products shall be authorized in the presence of veterinary and quality compliance certificates.
