Abstract This Regional Law defines the main tasks in the field of tourism and priority areas for the development of tourism in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the powers of the regional state authorities to create favorable conditions for the development of tourism in the region, measures of state support for priority areas of tourism development in the region. Regional tourism shall be classified as follows: (a) active tourism; (b) arctic tourism; (c) river tourism; (d) cultural and cognitive tourism; (e) ecological tourist route; (f) information tourism; (g) press tour; and (h) tourist brand. The main tasks in the field of tourism in the region are: (a) creation of competitive tourism products of the region; (b) promotion of a positive image of the region as favorable for tourism; (c) creation of favorable conditions for attracting investments in tourism industry, including through public-private partnership and development of the state support system; (d) increasing the availability of tourism, recreation and health services for residents of the region; (e) promoting sustainable growth in demand for the region's tourism product in foreign and domestic markets, involvement in tourism of various target groups of the regional residents; (f) development of tourist co-recreational and roadside infrastructure of the region; (g) preservation of tourist resources located on the territory of the region, and promoting their rational use; (h) development of international and interregional relations in the field of tourism; and (i) promotion of staffing in the field of tourism.
