This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right of free stay in forests for the purpose of procurement of non-timber forest resources free of charge for individual personal needs. It shall be applicable to non-edible non-timber forest products. Procurement of woody forage shall be performed from felled trees in the process of selective (intermediate) and clear cutting. Felling of trees for the procurement of birchbark and tanbark shall be prohibited. Collection of birchbark shall be performed from dry stand, wind fallen trees and felled trees on felling sites all the year round.
