This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official.
Abstract

This Regional Law sets forth common principles of organization and performance of pedigree stockbreeding in all branches of pedigree stockbreeding, including poultry breeding, captive breeding of wild fauna species and apiculture. The scope of this Regional Law shall be improvement of pedigree species, conservation of genetic resources and improvement of reproduction of pedigree stock. Graduates with university degree and diploma of specialised secondary educational establishment with qualifications of livestock engineer and livestock expert shall be authorized to perform pedigree stockbreeding practice. Pedigree stockbreeding farms, peasant farms and smallholders performing pedigree stockbreeding can be conceded preferential taxation terms. Pedigree stock shall be subject to mandatory state registration. All pedigree stock species present on the regional territory shall be subject to state protection.
