This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates the issues of prospecting, exploration, conservation of subsoil and mining with a view of extraction of minerals. Regional Government shall perform the following plenary powers: (a) realization of state policy in the sphere of subsoil management; (b) validation of normative legal acts in the sphere of subsoil management; (c) validation of the modalities of concession of plots of subsoil for exploration, prospecting and mining; (d) setting up and keeping state geological database; and (e) validation of the modalities of issuance, registration, renewal of exploration and mining licences.
