Abstract This Regional Law establishes organizational and legal norms in the sphere of protection of the territory (land, water, air) and citizens against natural and technological disasters. Regional early warning system shall be integral part of national early warning system against natural and technological disasters. The scope of early warning system shall be prevention and forecasting natural and technological disasters, data collection and reporting, spreading and dissemination of information related to natural and technological disasters, and mitigation of the consequences thereof. Concealment, non-timely submittal or submittal of misleading or knowingly false statement and information related to natural and technological disasters by public officials shall entail liability in accordance with acting legislation.
