This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law establishes legal grounds for pedigree stockbreeding, production and management of pedigree materials and establishes plenary powers of State Pedigree Service and natural and legal persons in this sphere. Pedigree products (materials) can be owned exclusively by the participants of commercial transactions, natural and legal persons, performing stockbreeding. Trade of pedigree products (materials) shall be performed only by natural and legal persons carrying out agricultural activity. Transfer of rights to pedigree products (materials) shall be authorized exclusively in the presence of state certificate issued in accordance with the acting legislation. Pedigree stock shall be used for breed reproduction on condition that the animal is marked and is identifiable, registered and certified.
