Regional Law No. 449-Z “On organization of collection and shipping point for timber”.

This Regional Law, with a view of preventing illegal logging, establishes the modalities of organization and functioning of collection and shipping point for timber, and establishes the requirements for acceptance, registration and transportation of timber. Incoming, processing and shipping timber shall be subject to compulsory registration and shall be recorded in registration log. At the moment of timber delivery to collection and shipping point for timber copies of the following documents must be submitted: (a) personal identification document; (b) designation of authority in case of delivery of timber of the third party; (c) individual taxpayer identification number; and (d) timber ownership certificate (forest declaration stamped by state body or local authority that have allotted forest parcel or purchase and sale contract for forest species).
