The Regional Law enters into force 10 days after its official publication.
Abstract

The present Regional Law establishes legal, economic and environmental protection arrangements aimed at efficient and stable development of reindeer breeding. The Regional Law consists of 14 Articles. Article 1 lays down general provisions. Article 2 determines purposes and priorities for regulation in the sphere of the development of reindeer breeding. Article 3 determines the arrangements for state support of reindeer breeding. Article 4 regards marking of animals. Article 5 regards subsidies for the insurance of domestic reindeer. Article 6 establishes top limits for keeping of heads of livestock. Article 7 regards assistance on professional training of personnel in the sphere of reindeer breeding. Article 8 regards veterinary arrangements in the sphere of reindeer breeding. Article 9 regards pedigree breeding. Article 10 establishes the duties of the owners, tenants and leaseholders of reindeer pastures. Article 11 establishes the particulars of the concession of reindeer pastures. Article 12 regards specialized registration in the sphere of reindeer breeding. Article 13 establishes liability for the infringement of the legislation in the sphere of reindeer breeding. Article 14 lays down final provisions.
