Abstract This Regional Law, with a view of protection of public health and protection of animals against cruelty, establishes common rules for keeping animals. Natural and legal persons, and also individual entrepreneurs must keep animals indoor and outdoor on land parcels and on premises owned thereby in compliance with veterinary, sanitary, ecological and land legislation. Owners of animals must provide keeping conditions in accordance with zoological and hygienic requirements corresponding to animal species, must provide them with sufficient and safe feed and drinking water. Keeping of agricultural animals in residential facilities shall be prohibited. Owners of animals shall provide for registration thereof. Full text Russian Website regzakon.fpa.su
