Abstract This Regional Law regulates legal relations originating between state bodies, local self-government, natural and legal persons regarding protection, planting and reproduction of green vegetation of urban and rural inhabited areas. All green vegetation (urban forests) planted on public and municipal land shall be subject to protection. Any economic activity, construction or production activity must be carried out with the consideration of requirements for the protection of green plantations. Natural and legal persons shall be granted the following rights: (a) recreational use of urban forests and green plantations; and (b) access to information released by state bodies and regarding registration of urban forests and green plantations.
