Abstract This Regional Law delimits plenary powers of the regional state bodies in the sphere of industrial and consumer waste management. Regional Legislative Assembly shall be responsible for adoption of legislation in the sphere of waste management. Regional Government shall be responsible for conduct of state policy in the sphere of waste management on the regional territory; prevention of natural and technological disaster originating from waste management, and mitigation of the consequences thereof; setting forth regional rules and regulations for treatment of solid consumer waste and setting forth rules for registration of waste and collection of waste.
