Abstract The scope of this Regional Law shall be to ensure reproduction of pedigree stock with a view of improving production qualities of agricultural animals and conservation of genetic fund of numerically small and endangered stock species useful for selection purposes. Regional pedigree service shall be responsible for organization of pedigree stockbreeding. Regional budget shall allocate subsidies for pedigree stockbreeding and, in particular, for purchase of special animal feed, highly productive animals, equipment for selection purposes and for organization of exhibitions, tenders and auctions.
