Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Regional Law regulates relations concerning management of waterbodies and delimits plenary powers of state bodies in the sphere of water relations. Regional ownership shall be applicable to ponds and drowned quarries located within the boundaries of the plots of land pertaining to regional public ownership. Regional Government shall have the following plenary powers in the sphere of water relations: (a) ownership, management and disposal of waterbodies owned by regional administration; (b) establishment of water charges; (c) reservation of sources of potable water supply; (d) validation of navigation rules for small-size vessels; and (e) application of restrictions and prohibition for use of waterbodies of common access in cases envisaged by the federal legislation.
