Abstract This Regional Law establishes that hunting shall be regulated by hunting management contracts concluded by regional administration and individual entrepreneurs or legal persons. Hunting managers shall have the following rights: (a) manage hunting resources; (b) issue hunting authorization/permit to hunters for hunting on hunting grounds managed thereby; (c) process wildlife products; (d) purchase and trade wildlife products; and (e) render hunting services and assistance. Hunting shall be classified as follows: (a) commercial; (b) artisanal and sport; (c) hunting for scientific research and educational purposes; (d) hunting and capture for acclimatization, transfer and hybridization purposes; (e) hunting and capture for breeding of wild fauna species in semi-captive conditions; and (f) traditional hunting of low number ethnic communities of the North, Siberia and Far East of the Russian Federation.
