Entry into force notes
This Regional Law enters into force on 1 December 2018.
Abstract

This Law shall be applicable to children, studying in state (regional) and municipal general educational institutions, except for children studying in the aforesaid educational institutions, who are on complete state provision. Free meals once a day during the learning process are provided to the following categories: (a) students in grades 1-4 inclusive; (b) students in grades 5-11, inclusive, from multi-child families; (c) students in grades 5-11, including those from families that have the average per capita income below the minimum subsistence level, established in the region. Free meals twice a day during the educational process shall be provided for students with disabilities are disabled children. Students in grades 1-4 inclusive additionally to the aforesaid free meals shall be provided once a day during the learning process free of charge with at least 200 ml of milk per child. Cost of meals and the procedure for the provision for students in state (regional) and municipal general educational institutions of free meals shall be established by the regional Governor.
