Abstract This Regional Law lays down grounds for state support of agro-industry out of regional budget with a view of raising efficiency of its branches, formation of stable agrofood market and meeting demand of the population in foodstuffs. State support shall be granted to the following categories: (a) producers of agricultural commodities; (b) organizations and individual entrepreneurs carrying out processing and trade of agricultural commodities on condition that the share of sold agricultural commodities in total revenues shall be over 70 percent; (c) poultry farms; (d) pedigree stockbreeding farms and state veterinary institutions; and (e) peasant farms.
