Abstract This Regional law regulates the issues of food quality control and food safety with a view of reduction of risks of damage to public health owing to the consumption of defective (unsafe) food. Authorized regional institution shall carry out regularly monitoring of quality and safety of foodstuffs (art. 6). Public health inspection shall carry out supervision over foodstuffs in circulation on the regional territory with a view of verifying compliance with food quality and food safety standards (art. 7).
