Abstract This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of state regulation and support of apiculture, protection of bees and natural habitats thereof. Main direction in the sphere of state regulation of apiculture shall be: (a) implementation of the unified state scientific and technical policy in apiculture; (b) state subsidies and incentives to apiculture; (c) prevention of bee diseases; (d) registration of apiaries and control over bee products; and (e) coordination of bee selection activity (art. 3). State support shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) compensation of costs for liquidation of quarantine diseases; (b) preferential credits and investments; and (c) subsidies for the promotion of apiculture (art. 4).
